Rashtreeya Shikshana Samithi Trust (RSST) is one of the most reputed educational institutions in Karnataka and known globally for imparting quality education in different disciplines.

Founded in the year 1940 by the visionary Swamy Sri Sivanada Sarma, Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi (as it was called then), was registered as a Society in 1940 under the Mysore Societies Regulation Act No.III (1904) and Act No. V (1939) of the erstwhile state of Mysore. It was in the year 1964 that Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust (RSST) was formed to carry forward the vision and mission of its founder.

Today, RSST has over 25 institutions across Bengaluru constituting around 15,000 students under its umbrella. RV institutions have their presence in virtually every field of academics right from Kindergarten to Post-Graduate and Research. In the field of higher education, the RV institutions offer undergraduate to doctoral level programmes in the fields of Humanities, Basic Sciences, Teacher's Training, Engineering, Architecture, Dental Science, Nursing and Physiotherapy. RSST’s reach spans all sections of society the privileged and underprivileged, the abled and differently abled - cutting through gender and age barriers. The Trust has also set itself apart by imparting education in specialty areas such as Women's Education, Gandhian Thought and Sanskrit Language.

The alumni of the RV institutions in the last seven decades have excelled in several walks of life, bringing laurels and glory to their alma mater. Eminent academicians, scholars, leaders, industrialists and many others have showered accolades on the RV institutions’ achievements and accomplishments.
