She graduated with Bachelors degree from TKM College of Engineering, Kollam, Kerala and completed her M.Arch (Conservation) from SPA, New Delhi.

Her Master’s thesis on ‘Conservation of the historic fort of area of Padmanabhapuram as a Redefined Heritage site’, was focused on exploring and bringing to light the built heritage (excluding the palace), which are lesser known to the greater public and to formulate developmental guidelines for the area.

She is interested in traditional/vernacular architecture and developing architectural solutions through an understanding of indigenous/ traditional knowledge system. Before joining RVCA, she taught undergraduate students for two years. She worked as a consultant for a few residential and adaptive reuse projects. Apart from profession, her interests include traveling and music.
